Купил ноутбук Toshiba Satellite A300-145
Давно хотел обзавестись подобным чудом техники, но всё никак не мог решиться и переехать с собранной собственными руками “коробки” 
. Изначально хотел купить HP (модель, к сожалению на память не помню), но уже прямо перед покупкой выбрал Toshiba Satellite A300-145. Не самый мощный, конечно, но мне большего пока и не нада: в игры я не играю, рендерить и делать какие-то сверхсложные вычисления мне не нужно.
За “Вистой” проработал ровно день - на большее меня не хватило. “Вы действительно были уверены, когда сказали, что были уверены, что действительно вы хотите отредактировать это файл?” - кто работал с Вистой больше дня поймёт, о чём я. Да и ресурсов кушает она много: FireFox у меня открывался в 3 раза медленнее, чем открывался на стационарном, в разы менее мощном, компьютере, но работающим по Windows XP. Решится всё-таки поставить на ноут XP - это только пол дела. Снести Висту и поставить XP оказалось не так-то просто, особенно учитывая, что почти у всех новых моделей ноутбуков какие-то “необычные” жесткие диски, которые загрузочные диски старых образцов не видят.
После двух дней мучения и трёпки нервов XP был установлен, а я наконец-то почувствовал, что такое двухъядерный процессор.
Вообще, ноутбук - вещь очень удобная: пробки становятся не такими длинными и скучными, обед в каком-нибудь ресторане, как оказалось, хорошо совмещается с бесплатной скачкой какой-нибудь инфы по Wi-Fi, ну и много других приятных моментов, которых можно получить только при работе за ноутбуком. Так что всем манимайкерам по ноутбуку!

Кстати, сегодня Яндекс внедрил в выдачу свой сервис “Адреса“. Как мне кажется, вещь ещё очень “необкатанная”, показывает очень много ереси, а ещё и почти весь экран занимает.
Многие сразу начали кричать, что Яндекс продолжает себя топить - осмелюсь не согласиться: для пользователей (глазами коих, мы уже совсем разучились смотреть) это будет приятным добавлением к общей выдаче. Но, повторюсь ещё раз, пока сервис не доработан.

Для таких hdd надо винда с поддержкой SATA AHCI. Тогда ставится нормально, без бубна)

я уже пол года использую Toshiba A200, очень хорошая машинка! Но пока Виста почему-то не достаёт. Поздравляю с приобретением!
Не нужно обижать висту. Я уже год ею пользуюсь и вообще всем доволен.
А вообще, странно у тебя получается. “Красивый” ноутбук Toshiba нравится, а “красивая” операционная система нет, потому что это типа не круто человеку, который занимается веб, пользоваться ею.
A чего–нибудь из Apple как вариант не рассматривалось?

CrashOver, спасибо. Хотя есть, конечно небольшие недостатки, типа малого заряда батареи, как оказалось, царапающейся “задвижечки” при закрытии крышки - но я, всё равно, доволен.

Виста обидела сама себя своим появлением… Скажу честно, до полноценной работы за ней я не понимал все эти “упрёки” и “придирки” к Висте. Но проработав чуть больше дня я не нашёл в ней ничего того, ради чего мне стоит ждать открытие FF в три раза дольше.
А ноутбук у меня нечто среднее между “я мега-сисадмин и покупаю только функциональные вещи” и “ну зато он красивый”
. Кстати, у тебя тоже ноут?
vitol, на сколько я знаю, они дороже. Плюс у меня не так много опыта в пользовании Mac OS, да и половина нужного по работе софта, наверное на них бы не пошло. В любом случае, сейчас эксперементировать не время…
А почему решили остановиться на Toshiba Satellite A300-145 , собираюсь тоже нот взять , теряюсь в выборе.
Виктор, в этой ценовой категории было три ноутбука с примерно одинаковыми характеристиками. Acer, отпал сразу из-за плохих отзывов - остались HP и Toshiba.
Они практически одинаковые, да и цена таже. В итоге, купил Toshiba Satellite A300-145 выбрал просто “на повезёт\не повезёт” - пока не жалею

А я так и сотался под Вистой - переход под ХР слишком геморный.
кстати ноут с вистой стоит на 4к дороже чем с фридосом….

Тимоха, а я посчитал, что лучше один раз помучаться, чем потом несколько лет нервничать и “затормаживать” рабочий процесс.
Толег, я ещё взял впридачу МФУ`шник, бумагу и мышку - итого примерно 30 тыс. рублей. А сам ноут 23 или 25 - точно уже не помню.
А есть, какая нибудь альтернатива?
На вид и по описанию ничего,может быть тачила,напишите о ней через пол года,розкажите как она себя проявляет!!!
Поздравляю с покупкой ноутбука, у самого ноутбука нет, но был большой опыт работы с “служебным” ноутом, вещь для тех у кого работа связана с интернетом самое то, насчет висты согласен
система немного портит нервы ) но если другого выхода нет то можно и ее использовать

Тоже хочу ноут на днях брать. Только МФУ уже давно есть =).
На счет Vista… Поставил себе Ultimate SP1 - доволен как слон
Я тоже хочу такое чудо.Но пока до этого не доходят руки
виста - извращение над ос. ТОже купил ноут и снес висту в этот же день, и поставил старую-добрую хр
Интересует:
1) шумность
2) говорят, греется проц у этой серии???
3) как звук?
Буду благодарен, сам присматриваюсь к модели A300-14S . Цена нравится в моем городе в пределах 25 тысяч.

1) Не слышно совсем, только чуточку при загрузке, ну и естественно дисковод повизгивает.
2) Не замечал.
3) Отлично, звук для ноута очень хороший. Но я всё равно предпочитаю колоночку подключить по возможности.
Из минусов только могу отметить малое количество времени в автономной работе (без розетки) - где-то 2 часа 40 минут (хотя, может это и нормально - я не узнавал, как у других ноутбуков).
Да, сонгласен. Батареи с вовременных ноутах это слабое место…

Красивый ноутбук, только во всех мне не нравится то, что мало держит батарея. И получается ноут используется больше как настольный пк. Сколько на этой тошибе хватает заряда ?
